Sailing Tour 2 days (1 night), 2 national parks (Kornati and Talaščica)
The tour starts at 09:00 in Marina Arbanasi in Zadar. We will be heading south threw Zadar channel to the Mali Ždrelac pass, followed by sailing through the middle channel passing the beautiful island Žut to the gateway of Mala Proversa, the entrance of the National park Kornati on the south and National park Talaščica on the North. The scheduled time of arrival is around midday, followed by anchoring in one of the bays in the park area for the afternoon pause - perfect for the lunch and activities such as swimming and snorkelling. The rest of the day is ideal for the sailing in Talaščica park area located on the southern part of Dugi Otok and visiting parks natural attractions. The most famous are the Devil's cliffs on the western side of the island and salt lake Mir.
In late afternoon we will anchor the boat in one of the bays in the park area and enjoy the beautiful sunset accompanied by dinner with seafood and local wine. The next day is planned for the tour in Kornati Nature park.
With favourable wind we will head south with island Kornat on the left side and Kornati islands archipelago on the right. With few stops for swimming and snorkelling we should arrive to south pass of Kornati National park early afternoon, and after lunch we will set sails back towards Zadar.
We are a couple Ania is from Poland and Iztok from Slovenia both living between Croatia and Slovenia with 3 children (two boys, 1 girl) with a passion for sailing, flying, hiking, surfing, living.
ANIA is an owner of a tourist agency in Zadar that specializes in high-end real estate rentals with the gut feeling for human relationship and fine touch for design.
IZTOK is airplane constructor, pilot, a flight instructor that also has a big passion for sailing.
We own sailboat named Despicable me that we spend 100+ days every year on.
We invite you that you embark and share this adventure with us. We will share all the knowledge that we have accumulated in years of sailing with emphasizes on crew management.
About the boat
For this adventure, we use Bavaria 340. This boat is 9,95 m long and 3,67 m wide. It has 3 double cabins, shower & electric WC and a small kitchen with all equipment. This boat has Volvo engine and maximum speed is 6 Nm per hour. The sailboat is equipped with: VHF radio, Autopilot, GPS, Radio, CD player, autopilot, depth sounder...
2-days Sailing (1 night spent on the boat): 680 EUR (max 4 people)
What is included:
Food and non-alcoholic drinks on the boat, towels, bed linen, snorkelling equipment, learning course.
1 day: Lunch is on board the sailboat with menu options (vegetarian, fish, chicken)
Dinner is not included in the trip price and it is planned in one of the excellent Dalmatian restaurants in National Park. You will be able to taste authentic Croatian specialities.
2 day: Breakfast + pancakes and coffee and lunch are on board the sailboat with menu options again (vegetarian, fish, chicken).
Please let us know in advance about your preference (48 hours before the trip start). If not we treat you as a vegetarian.
Threw ought the trip we provide a great range of fresh fruit, orange juice, water and snacks.
If you want other drinks you can bring them along.
Alcohol drinks, marina and buoy mooring fees, food outside the boat, national park entry.
On the boat CAPTAIN (skipper) is responsible for the crew and as such is free to make decisions on his own. In case of bad weather CAPTAIN (skipper) has the right to change the route. In case that route has been changed because of the bad weather, guests don’t have the right to a money refund.
We do not mind drinking alcohol on board the sailboat but all in reasonable amounts. Capitan has the right to ask all on board to stop drinking for safety of the crew and passengers.
We will do everything that you are satisfied and that you will have unforgettable memories. From the moment of embarking the boat you are our guests but you will also be treated as a part of the crew. Purpose of this trip is that we act as a team in sailing, but also in preparing the food, cleaning, etc.
Your trip will take place in a remote location, in a foreign country so you need to make certain all participants in your group have valid passports and adequate insurance in the event of a medical emergency or in case your travel arrangements are disrupted.
If you're planning a trip with younger children, ensure they can swim competently without a buoyancy/flotation aid, otherwise they'll have to wear life jackets throughout the trip!
