VISIT NATIONAL PARK KORNATI AND TALAŠČICA WITH ONE NIGHT ON THE BOAT
The tour starts at 10:00 in Marina Foša in Zadar. We will be heading south threw Zadar channel to the Mali Ždrelac pass, followed by sailing through the middle channel passing the beautiful island Žut to the gateway of Mala Proversa, the entrance of the National park Kornati on the south and National park Talaščica on the North. We plan to be there around noon, followed by anchoring in one of the bays in front of the park area for the afternoon pause - perfect for the lunch and activities such as swimming and snorkelling. The rest of the day is ideal for the sailing in Talaščica park area located on the southern part of Dugi Otok and visiting parks natural attractions. The most famous is the Devil's cliffs on the western side of the island and salt lake Mir.
In the late afternoon, we will anchor the boat in one of the bays in the and enjoy the beautiful sunset accompanied by dinner with seafood and local wine. The next day is planned for the tour in Kornati Nature park.
With the favourable wind, we will head south with island Kornat on the left side and Kornati islands archipelago on the right. With few stops for swimming and snorkelling, we should arrive to pass Vela Proversa early afternoon, and after lunch, we will set sails back towards Zadar.
On the way, we will teach you the basics of sailing, fishing, diving.
Your Hosts (short about us):
We are a Polish-Slovenian couple, living in Zadar in Northern Dalmatia. My name is Ania and I come from Poland, my husband Iztok was born and raised in Slovenia. We are passionate about sailing, flying, hiking, surfing and generally an active, cheerful life.
We have been running a tourist agency specializing in renting apartments and villas in Croatia for 4 years under the name CROWONDER. The part devoted to sailing results from our passion for the sea and sharing knowledge with others. We have been organizing our own Bavaria cruises for three years.
About the boat
For this adventure, we use Bavaria 340. This boat is 9,95 m long and 3,67 m wide. It has 3 double cabins, a shower & electric WC and a small kitchen with all equipment. This boat has Volvo engine and the maximum speed is 6 Nm per hour. The sailboat is equipped with VHF radio, Autopilot, GPS, Radio, CD player, autopilot, depth sounder...
Costs:
2-day Sailing (1 night spent on the boat): 780 EUR/tour (max 4+1 people)
What is included:
Towels, bed linen, snorkelling equipment, learning course.
1 day: Lunch is on board the sailboat with menu options (vegetarian, fish, chicken)
Dinner is not included in the trip price, and it is planned at one of the excellent Dalmatian restaurants in National Park. You will be able to taste authentic Croatian specialities.
2 day: Breakfast + pancakes and coffee and lunch are on board the sailboat with menu options (vegetarian, fish, chicken).
Please let us know in advance about your preference (48 hours before the trip starts). If not, we treat you as a vegetarian.
Throughout the trip, we provide a great range of fresh fruit, orange juice, water, and snacks.
If you want other drinks, you can bring them with you.
Not included:
Food and drinks on the boat, marina and buoy mooring fees, food outside the boat, and National Park entry.
Food and drinks on the trip cost an additional 50 € per person/trip
If the guests will decide to stay on the boat and not to go to the restaurant on the first evening, the dinner on the first day will cost an additional 15 €.
Important notes:
The person responsible for the crew on the boats is the CAPTAIN (skipper), who has the right to make the sole decision dictated by concern for your safety.
In case of bad weather CAPTAIN (skipper) has the right to change the route. In case that route has been changed because of the bad weather, guests don’t have the right to a money refund.
We do not mind drinking alcohol on board the sailboat but all in reasonable amounts. Capitan has the right to ask all on board to stop drinking for the safety of the crew and passengers.
We will do everything that you are satisfied and that you will have unforgettable memories. From the moment of embarking the boat, you are our guests but you will also be treated as a part of the crew. The purpose of this trip is that we act as a team in sailing, but also in preparing the food, cleaning, etc.
Your trip will take place in a remote location, in a foreign country so you need to make certain all participants in your group have valid passports and adequate insurance in the event of a medical emergency or in case your travel arrangements are disrupted.
If you're planning a cruise with children and they do not know how to swim well, they will have to wear life jackets throughout the trip.
